    • Multilingual International EMS Terminology
The project has made a great effort to develop an international glossary that facilitates communication between teams from different countries and different languages. We have concluded a first compilation of terms and their definitions as understood by each of the member countries of the project consortium. The glossary can be accessed here: https://www.iprocuresecurity.eu/es/knowledge/glossary?paged=4 We are aware that there is much work to be done and that is why we invite all professionals and experts in emergencies to make their contributions of new terms, new definitions or discussions about how each concept is understood in different places. Discussions can be held in any language. We appreciate in advance any contribution

    • Procurement of medical supplies in times of COVID19
Medical staff and employees in EMS must protect themselves particularly well against infection with the coronavirus. However, there is often a backlog demand for the masks and protective equipment required for this purpose - at present, only small quantities are often available. On the other hand, there were problems with the quality of many protective masks. How could this problem be addressed and what alternatives are available? In the long term, should we consider switching production and procurement? Can we learn from the crisis?

    • Strategies for the uptake of the bystanders’ intervations in life-threatening emergencies
Experiences throughout the world with life-threatening emergencies have highlighted the important role of bystanders. Bystanders are persons at the scene of an event who voluntarily step forward to help, and their early assistance may reduce morbidity and mortality. Moreover, because bystanders usually outnumber professional rescuers, their involvement may strengthen response to emergency events. The aim of the group is to facilitate the exchange of information among health professionals regarding effective strategies to improve the uptake of the bystanders’ intervations.
