Innovations for Personal Protective Equipment
PPE is equipment that will protect the user against health or safety risks at work. It can include items such as safety helmets, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear and safety harnesses. It also includes respiratory protective equipment (RPE). The extensive use of PPE during the pandemic has revealed many disadvantages in current designs. There is a need to innovate in many ways. The input of all who have thought about what kinds of innovations are required is needed.

I have been trying to get information on the outcomes and developments of the Smart@Fire PCP, but their web site is no longer active. Does any of you have more insights about it? Here is a short description:
Smart@fire (2012 – 2017) was a project to encourage companies and researchers and provide them with financial means to develop Innovative ICT Solutions that better protect firefighters and help prevent accidents, and to integrate them into Smart Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
