European Paediatric Basic Life Support Course - EPBLS (English)
Description
The European Paediatric Basic Life Support Course (EPBLS) is intended to provide training for anybody who is working with children and could be confronted with a child in (imminent) cardiac arrest (CA). Regular retraining is mandatory. The Course lasts 4 to 6 hours. At the end of the EPBLS course one should be able to: Assess a child who is not reacting, Start resuscitation of a child, Adequately perform chest compressions and rescue breaths,Safely operate an automated external defibrillator, Understand the specific situation of ‘sudden collapse’ and act accordingly, Support a choking child, Place a child in recovery position, Start resuscitation of an adult.
